Amazing food, the pecan chicken is what I always get, always perfectly cooked and don't even get me started on the sauce they put on top it is exquisite!. Service is really good, the three years I have been going there never had any problem with the staff or food, the owner is really nice and checks on his customers when he is there to make sure his customers are happy, the environment is really nice and neat, I definitely recommend you trying this place out if your in the area, really really nice place to eat
Our first visit to this "neighborhood restaurant" for birthday dinner. The staff were friendly & efficient, menu varied from salads & sandwiches to fish & pasta dishes. We ordered the lobster bisque which was delicious. We ordered entrees: the One upon a time in Mexico (grilled chicken w/salsa, cheese) , Caesar salad w/grilled chicken, Maui salmon (teriyaki salmon over rice w/pineapple salsa) & the dinner salad w/blackened salmon. The meals arrived freaky fast & were cooked perfectly. The portions were perfect & prices were most reasonable I have seen in Winston. Shout out to Michelle & Gabby for excellent service with a smile. This is a neighborhood spot that we will return to often! Pictures next time!
Had a Christmas Dinner here tonight. Enjoyed myself in conversation so much that I almost did not take pictures. I love coming here especially after they sort of merged with the cooking staff from Oso Eats. The menu changed and got even better. They have options for everyone, from salads & wraps, to burgers & Main Chef dishes. I love their Pecan Chicken as well as the Madeira Chicken with mushrooms. However today I cheated on my diet and went with the Country Fried steak. It is a well coated and fried steak that does not need much else. It sits on some creamy mashed potatoes and topped off with a bacon gravy that's not too watery or too thick. It is the right consistency and they don't smother it, it's just enough so that you can enjoy the actual steak. You get your Choice of side, I went with asparagus so I could convince myself that I was eating healthy. They also have a great selection of desserts. I got a slice of carrot cake that looked like it was on steroids, definitely it good for my diet. I I g was great, cake was a tad dry and I could have used more nuts in.it, my preference. My buddy got the Buckey which looked amazing and was probably about a million calories. He loved it and I trust his word. The ambience is casual family style with plenty of seating. There is also a bar towards the rear with a few TVs to catch sports. I love coming here and have loved everything I have ever ordered. It's a strip mall so plenty of parking. Staff is always on point with taking g orders and getting them right, drinks filled and all with a smile. Love this family restaurant with reasonable prices. They also have two rooms that can be reserved for small parties.
I never knew this restaurant was here until a friend suggested it. I hate that I've missed it all these years. I had the Maui Lucas. The chicken was perfectly cooked. The teriyaki sauce was light and served in just the right proportion. The pineapple salsa was outstanding. The rice and asparagus were fantastic. This was the best restaurant meal I've had in a long time. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was that of an upscale deli. The rest of the menu looked good. I can't wait to go back and try something else. Do yourself a favor and try The Sherwood.
We visited on a Monday evening and were immediately given a table. The place was decorated like a typical restaurant but was very clean. Our waitress immediately got our drink orders and offered us bread service. The bread was delicious. I opted to have the Monday special of Chicken Parm and a salad and was not disappointed. The chicken was crispy and the Alfredo sauce was very good. All in all a great experience and I will be back!

Hadn't been here in a while but was on that side of town today. This place is cute, clean, cool, friendly and affordable. As usual our meal was good and came out quick. Place is always packed but normally can still get a table. I tried something different today with the Mexican ish dish and really liked it. Great piece of chicken on it. Wife loves the bun on the sandwich and said fries were awesome. They are the extra layer coated kind only a few pub places have. 2 meals and a Cheerwine for around $25 plus tip. Can't beat it. We will be back.
